Hi, I just wanted to send you an update on our trip to Anaheim. We spent two full days on the show floor and quite a few hours with catalogs spread out on the beds in the hotel. Actually I think I wrote more orders that usual which probably made the vendors happy! I will be writing several more orders within the next few days for things we loved but didn't have time to stop for. I came home with lots of notes on what we liked best.

Arriving at the convention center......

The first order we wrote was for a display from Doodlebug. It will come with this spring assortment and we will refill it seasonally. We think it will be fun for those who want to make really quick cards.....

One of our goals was to order new baby boy and baby girl lines. We chose the ones from Echo Park. After seeing several competing lines, we thought this was really the cutest....

Bundle of Joy (girl)

Bundle of Joy (boy)

At My Mind's Eye, we found great collections for boys and girls who are not babies, but not teenagers, either. Boy Crazy.....
and stamps....

My Girl.....
and stamps...

And the Memorable collection....

We ordered a beautiful board from Penny Black which should be shipping in a couple of weeks. We also got lots of other ideas there. In addition to the board collection, we ordered stamps and paper we liked and Melissa is thinking about teaching a class similar to the shadow box below.

Spring board.....

Class anyone?

While at Stampendous, we wrote an order to include all of the special orders customers had given us and added some, too.....

Saw some great things done with the Cheery Lynn dies......

including this great witches hat!

Two of our favorite collections were from Graphic 45, of course!
Secret Garden is delicate and sweet.....check out the book done with the collection.

here are a few of the papers in the collection....

and some from the French Country collection!

I don't have pictures for you yet, but we bought a great collection from Bo Bunny. It is called Misc me Life Journal. Life Journals are all the rage. It is a type of very simple scrapbooking. Several companies had their take on it, but we loved what BoBunny did. You buy the binder and inserts separately (very reasonably priced) and taylor your project to your needs. Here is what sold me.....you can put your photos and journaling in it or you can even make it a day planner or calendar! How clever is that? They will ship soon, so we will let you know when the collection arrives.

There will be lots more to see. Stop in this Saturday to look at the piles of catalogs we brought back and to check out the demo of the Silhouette Cameo from 10-3pm.

Some of the items we ordered should be shipping right away, some will ship up through March. You can help us decide what else to order by checking our the catalogs.

Also, don't forget to get your Stamp Escape registration in the mail. We got to meet with all four teachers at CHA and they are furiously planning their projects. This was the first time we have seen all teachers at CHA, and some of them even networked so they could discuss what they are planning to do. Go to the website and click on the Great Yosemite Stamp Escape link to download your registration form.

See you soon.....
