Memory Box coming!

Color of the Year: Emerald!

Happy New Year!

With an extra week between Thanksgiving and Christmas I thought I was really organized. Well, that’s a joke! I guess starting the New Year with a smile is a good thing. I hope you have a happy and healthy year ahead of you. No resolutions will be made here except to look for the latest, most innovative and inspirational products on the market.

Melissa and I will leave around noon Saturday, Jan 12, following the Stamp of the Month class. We should make it to Anaheim in time for dinner and a night of rest to gear up for the Winter Craft and Hobby Association Conference. This is our biggest trade show where we get to see the newest releases of stamps, papers, embellishments, etc. I am always on the look-out  for new companies, too. We will also be able to visit with all four of our Stamp Escape teachers while there. Melissa and I were talking about scouting out teachers for 2014 while we are there (getting organized, you know).

Don't miss out.....sign up for The Great Yosemite Stamp Escape 2013 now! Get the info on our website. Teachers are all confirmed. See a sample of their work (not what they wil be actually doing) and read a bit about them.

Be sure to check out the class schedule. You only have a day or two at the most to sign up for Melissa’s calendar class. The Stamp of the Month is the 12th and we will be closing at around noon and will not re-open until Wednesday morning, then the 19th we will have our CHA Show and Tell with all of the catalogs and goodies we bring home. Melissa will also demo the Silhouette Cameo that day. Before you buy an electronic die-cutting system, check out the Cameo! You will love the fact that you do not need to buy cartridges, and how user friendly it is. The last Saturday of the month, the 26th, Robin will brighten up your winter with some spring-color themed all occasion cards.  Remember, the last Tuesday of every month, you can come in and work on cards for Operation Write Home. Prior to Feb. 1st, we will be shipping general theme cards as well as St. Patrick’s Day and Easter cards. All cards need to be A2 size and NO glitter!  We like to send all cards with envelopes and have envelopes  that are only 10 cents each available.

By the next time I write, we should have lots to share. I wish you good health and happiness in 2013. See you soon!

                                            What's New?

New release from Hero Arts came in mid-December and has been well received. I feel as though it is much more like the 'old' Hero Arts we love!

We have several new sample boards.....one from Darcie's with Tin Pins featured. If you love Gnomes and Mushrooms and fun furry critters....you will find them on this board. We will be featuring the stamps on the board from Great Impressions at Stamp of the Month this month. They are Valentine themed and very cute. We also have a Limited Edition Valentine board from Northwoods Rubber Stamps. As always, they are sooooo sparkly! We will see their next five boards available at CHA and will make an attempt to choose the best.....as if they aren't all wonderful!

We have ordered tons of new dies fom Memory Box...I told Dave he was just evil for releasing 108 new dies. Can you believe he can think up that many? They should be in stock soon.....and if you don't get your favorites with the first shipment, we will be happy to order for you and even ship if necessry.

We received the new catalog from Stampendous as a sneak peek. If you have been stamping forever like I have, you might think of PSX when you see the finely detailed images, especially the botanicals. I love them. They are perfect for those who love to color!

Be sure to stop in the store when we get back from CHA to get a hint of what's to come.
