Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I hope you and your family have had a great year and are looking forward to 2013. I have had a lot of changes in my life over the last few years, as I am sure everyone has. This year we sold the home we had built as our retirement home.....never planned to move out of it! Moving is my worst nightmare. I guess that's why it took us 2 years to move from that home to the home my Mom and Dad had built. Combining two homes and trying to get rid of the duplicates and triplicates was a real challenge. Now there is a nice young couple living in our 'retirement home'. They have lots of energy and plans for the house and property which makes me happy. I feel like a weight has been lifted from my shoulders. Now I am really looking forward!

We are excited that Winter CHA, our annual trade show is approaching. This year it is a bit early, January 12-15. Melissa and I have our hotel reservations and have paid for our show badges. We can hardly wait to see what is new for 2013.

I talked to Lynell Harlow this morning. She called to thank me for inviting her and Wayne to teach in November. She also said something I hear from all of the teachers, "You have the nicest customers!" Lynell and her husband are really great people and I am glad so many of you got to take their classes. I am sure they would be happy to come back some time. And I have to agree with her....I do have the nicest customers!

Speaking of classes, The Great Yosemite Stamp Escape is coming up soon. I am sorry to say I am still working to confirm a couple of teachers. They have schedules and don't seem to realize that I need a firm commitment early so you and I can make plans. I have decided to go ahead and start taking registrations because I have gotten so many requests. I will have the registration form up on the website in a few days. I appreciate that you trust we will have great teachers.....I will keep you posted on who they are soon, I hope!

Mark your calendar, we will be closing at 3pm on Christmas Eve and New Years' Eve. We will be closed Christmas Day and New Years' Day.

I hope you have wonderful holidays and will have a healthy and prosperous2 013!
What's New?

Even though we are at the end of the year, there are still new things coming in. On December 14th, we will have the 2013 Hero Arts release debut. They release their new products at this time each year which is fun because they are ahead of everyone else! Be sure to stop by and check everything out.

Memory Box is sending their color of the month, and from the sneak peek I saw, it is beautiful. Should be here soon.

We recently got a small order from Hero Arts that included some of their new embossing folders. I used one on my Christmas Cards (which I might add are almost done!) and I really love it.

Some of you might have seen Melissa using her Silhouette Cameo, an electronic cutting device that hooks up to your computer. We will have them in the store to sell soon. Many people have asked about the Cricut, but we wanted to offer something that we really think gives you the best value and is user friendly. The Cameo does not use cartridges which means you do not have costly add-ons all the time. If you want to see the Cameo in action, we will be having a demo day soon.

We got new colors of the Viva Decor Glitter Pens that are beautiful. Also got three new colors of Hero Arts Shadow Inks. I think we have filled all of the special orders following Lynell's class.....still waiting for a few special order dies from Memory Box from Robin's window class.

If you have thoughts about companies you like (or don't), please share this with us. It helps us order what you want. We will also be taking a short survey over the next few weeks regarding class content. This will help Robin, Melissa and me plan classes that you interest you.

Again....Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! See you soon!
