Better late than never....!

Hello again,

Being late seems to be my new normal. I thought I would be back to "my normal" by now, but somehow time got ahead of me. Anyway, here we go. We had a great time at Stamp Escape. We were blessed with a beautiful weekend. The weather could not have been bettter even though we had a little snow-scare a week prior, and some pretty lousey weather after the event. We hope everyone had a great time. We enjoyed seeing Karen Burniston, Monika Thomas, and Julie Kelly again, and adding Angie Hunt to our teacher group!  I would love to hear who your favorite was. As always, we wouldn't have done it without the help of Melissa (who really kept things together while I was spending time at the animal shelter) and Robin, who was recovering from major surgery! Thanks for always being there, girls!

We have had a lot of requests for information about next year. The Pines had told me the prices will be going up, and there is really no option for a different location that would work for us. I told them we could not absorb huge increases. They are actually working hard to keep prices the same for guests, but some of my prices for the meeting rooms and food will increase (hopefully not too much). I have not given them a yes or no as I will also have to find help for the weekend, which I would like to do before I commit. You wouldn't think our little event would have so many moving parts! The date they reserved for us is April 17 -19. (definitely better dates than I was able to get this year.) I have not made a definite decision, but will keep you informed.

We always have a hard time getting through the first of the year as we are sort of between holidays/seasons. When it gets sunny, the new products also seem to be more interesting. We have been working on (probably boring for you) our solid color cardstock. Some of the "forever" vendors have either been sold, downsized, or gone out of business, There were papers in 8.5x11 and 12x12 that that were staples that are no longer available. Since we are paper snobs, and will only carry good quality paper, we have been searching high and low to keep a good basic paper selection for you.

We are also searching far and wide for new vendors...paper, stamps, dies, anything that might be of interest to our customers. We are always interested in knowing if there is something you are looking for that we may not carry. Sometimes we can special order for you...or who knows...we might even bring in a whole new product line that you bring to our attention. You just never know!

Finally, we are beginning to get back on track with classes....a bit anyway! Melissa has a great class planned for this month. The cards are beautiful and include interesting materials and techniques. They look elegant and complicated, but they are something anyone can do.  Her class will be Saturday, May 30th at 9:30am. The class fee of $25 covers all but the basic glues, etc.

Check out what's new.... and thanks again to all who attended The Great  Yosemite Stamp Escape 2024!

                                                                  What's New?

We have two new Graphic 45 collections....just came through the door! They are not unpacked yet, so no photos! Their newest collections have been some of their best. The themes for these new ones are Fairy Boutique and Seas the Day! I just ripped the boxes open....both collections are fabulous!

A new collection from Echo Park is in stock...a theme we rarely see! It is "Cowgirl" themed, and would have a variety of uses.

We brought in Lisa Horton embossing 3D Embossing folders. The top two in the photo also have matching dies! We ran them through on silver cardstock ( and one on metalic paper) so you could see the dimention a little better. (Hopefully)

We have the Spellbinders Platinum 6 die cutting machine back in stock if you are in need of a good quality die cutting machine! Also from Spellbinders, we have packs of Merino (wool) felt, and a couple of adorable felt cutting dies. You need to see how cute these are.
