Yippeee!!!!!
Hi there...
Stamp Escape is here and we are still alive! I know many of those attending have been concerned about the weather...I must admit I had 2 1/2" of snow at home two days ago...but the forecast for the weekend is great. Melissa posted the forecast on our Facebook page. You can check it our there. As usual the classroom is piled high in boxes of goodies that will be for sale at The Pines. Everything is checked in, entered into the computer, scanned, and reboxed, ready to be set up in our "store" area in the Lakeview Room at The Pines. Teachers will started arriving Yesterday. We are looking forward to seeing everyone. It is always so much fum when we see our teachers arrive, and especially when our attendees start arriving! We have quite a few newbies this year, so I hope the "seasoned" attendees will help them out if needed. We are execting beautiful lake weather...with fabulous views out the windows in the Lakeview Room, Can't wait.
I know our customers who stop by frequently also get excited, even if they are not attending, but like to see the new things we bring in for the event. This year we have new product from LDRS, KB Riley, Pink Fresh, Spellbinders and more...If you come in the first few days of next week, we will have the product that was featured at the event on the back tables for you to browse. We may or may not keep it all, so get it while it's hot!!!
I think Melissa and I are finally getting back into our routine. We even talked about being inspired by some new things we have seen. We will be working on Saturday Class scheduling...so stay tuned! My time at the EMCSPCA Animal Care and Adoption Center put a lot on Melissa's shoulders. I am always grateful to have her available to step in. We were in communication, but I probably only saw her a couple of times during the 5+ months I was at the Center. If you are coming this weekend, the staff at the Center will be happy to take you on a tour! Just put 43180 Highway 49, Ahwahnee, CA in your phone and it should lead you to the Center.....now let me explain...Google can get a little confused. If you end up at gates to a park..that is not us! We are the beautiful blue building across the highway from the grammar school (Wasuma School) so that may be a better way to find us. Don't ask me to explain Google! They are open 10-4 Tuesday through Saturday. And w have some adorable dogs. We are a bit low on kitties right now...waiting for the spring kittens to arrive...then there will be lots. Just a tidbit...and I don't know for sure this will happen....but there a couple of dogs we pulled from our county shelter that had major problens and zero chance of adoption. We have been working our magic on them, and hope they will find forever homes soon!
Things should get back to normal at the store by the end of next week. We look forward to seeing everyone...
What's New?
Would you believe everything????? Well a lot is in boxes, but will be available next week. We to have some great new products on the floor that will not be at Stanp Escape, though.
Have you checked out the new Lawn Fawn Easter collection? I think it might be the best Easter paper ever. We also got in the Winnie the Pooh paper collection. It is too cute! The stamp sets that accompany the paper collection are on pre-order so we are watching for those daily.
We have had great results with the new 12x12 paper packs that come in pastels or brights....there are 25 assorted sheets in a pack and the cost works out to 25 cents per sheet. You certainly can't beat that!
We really filled in the tool wall...so if you are in need of any kind of tool, you will probably find it there.
See you soon!
