Happy End of Summer!
Hi...I always think of Labor Day as the end of summer. I guess in California, since we will still have hot weather, it is not really the end of summer, but it just makes me feel better to think it is! We have been busy with summer tourists and people we had not seen in a while. It seems strange to think that we are just now getting back to a similar number of tourists that we had prior to "the C-word" .....We always enjoy visitors from out of the state and country. Melissa said the other day that she thinks Quill and Doodlebug must have their photos circulating all over the world. They have regular visitors who stop in...wave at me and say "I am just here to pet the cats"....get their kitty fix and wave goodbye. The cats love it and so do we!
It has been fun hearing from those who are signing up for Stamp Escape. It seems like a long time away, but it really isn't. We have especially enjoyed seeing our "regulars" that we hadn't seen for a couple of years and always having new attendees join in.
If you haven't already heard, Mitra, owner of Impression Obsession, has decided to close by the end of the year. We have carried IO for years and will miss them. We are discounting our remaining IO stock. When you stop in the store, remember to look for the IO products....they are all 20% off while they last.
We are looking forward to having Julie Kelly here, Saturday, September 21st. This will be an all-day event! She will teach in the morning and afternoon. We will provide Pizza during our lunch break. You will have at least 5 projects in each class. You will use lots of ink techniques, stencils, and Better Press! This is a great time to try things out whether you are new or just like to catch up on products and techniques. The day will start at 9:30 am and we should be out around 4:30. The fee for the day (September 21st) is $60 which includes lunch. We do have a fridge if you want to bring your own drinks or snacks. Call or stop by to reserve your class space. Julie's classes are always a lot of fun!

What's New?
We got our fill-in order of OLO markers! We ordered double the amount we usually order in the beautiful green shades. If you were waiting for OLO's, call or stop by to get them while our selection is good!
We are trying to keep our inventory of the new G45 Christmas and Fall collections well stocked. It has been a bit of a challenge, but we should be getting some additional stock this week and more a couple of weeks later. Both collections are beautiful!
We will have all of the new products Julie is using in her classes. We expect them to all be here before her classes...fingers crossed!
We have refurbished our "tool" wall. We added new things such as extra-strong magnets, all sorts of goodies. I can't believe how full it is.
We are constantly on the hunt for the best solid colors of cardstock, but in some cases it is a challenge. We have found that some of our favorites have been discontiunued. We are trying to find good quality substitutes...but keep in mind that your favorite color may not be available in the future,
