Good news on a rainy day!

Hi there....I think I must have blinked, and January has already flown by! Lets hope February 2024 is a bit toned down from what 2023 was.

First of all, I want to give you an update on Stamp Escape which will be here before we know it! I want to introduce our teachers....Angelica Turner (former designer for Heartfelt Creations) will be using the beautiful papers and dies she now designs for Elizabeth Craft Designs! Angelica brings a new look to ECD and she also has the opportunity to expand her creativity into dies...and who knows what else! Irina Blount, owner of La-La Land Crafts, will be here to teach some really fun projects using her whimsical stamps and dies. I think she will be a great addition with her enthusiasm and a style we don't always feature. Your favorite teacher from 2023, Carissa Wiley, will be back...this time with some great stamps and dies from Spellbinders! I know you will enjoy seeing what she has to offer with the latest from Spellbinders. We are really pleased to have Channin Pelletier with us this year! You may know that Channin took over the job Libby Hickson had at Hero Arts. You have probably seen Channin on the internet...but she is now adjusting to her new job and was kind enough to make time to teach at our event! We look forward to having these four talented women share their inspiration with us!

If you have not already signed up for Stamp Escape 2024, we have a few spots left, so call and we will help you get set up! You can reach us at 559-642-6611, 9-5 Monday through Saturday. We are really pleased to have a great group of teachers who have different styles. I know you will have a great time...we look forward to seeing you!

                                                                                WHAT:S NEW?

Well, we are  getting past that lull where we are between the holiday push, and the post-holiday lull. The new realeses we did get have really blown out of here! We got some great papers from Echo Park and Carta Balla that everyone loved. Melissa used some of them is her classes and, of course Robin is using some of the G45 papers in her class this month. We just received a Carta Bella Easter collection yesterday!  I think the companies are more aware of making holiday themed papers more useful by having more generic designs on the 'back side'.

We have added card kits to our orders when we find interesting ones....We weren't sure if our crafters would really be interested in them, or whether they would just be something a non-crafty person would like to try. It turns out everyone likes them! Who would have thought! We just received two nice ones from Simple Stories. You can keep them simple or add your own special touches!

The new Timber Distress Ink and Distress Oxide inks came in. We have placed a back-up order to make sure we have enough for everyone, It is an interesting color...kind of blackish/brownish/greyish.....like I said, interesting! The color should be great for adding a distressed/burnt edge look.

Orders from Taylored Expressions, Penny Black, and a few others are in process or on the way. We very happy with the wonderful response to the OLO markers. If you have been a Coipc fan, you should really try OLO. I know you will be pleasantly surprised! We are placing another large order this week!

If you are in need of a new paper trimmer, I think I mentioned the one from Tonic/Tim Holtz that is more reasonably priced than most. We have found that it really cuts well. It also has a scoring blade which makes the price even better. We have always had good luck with Tonic, so if you are interested, we will show you this one!

Be sure to sign up for Robin's  and Melissa's classes.....
