Hi again......
I have been working out class plans with Michael Strong and here is what we have decided: Michael will be at The Cat's Meow Friday. September 21st and Saturday, September 22nd. He will teach three different classes. Classes are $25 each. You will need to bring a basic kit including adhesive. As you know, Michael is a delightful teacher and we are excited to have Mike and Carla visit us again. I suggest you sign up for classes as soon as possible as class space is limited. The class schedule is : Friday September 21 2:30-4:30 "Hex Marks the Spot" with Mike Strong's Flexible Hex-able stamp.  Saturday September 22 10:00-12:00 "Tis the Season" Halloween, Thanksgiving & Christmas cards.  Saturday September 22 1:00 - 3:00 "Take Flight" Simple Iris folding cards using Mike' winged stamps and die cutters  I hope you can make it to Michael's classes.....call or email soon. All classes will require prepayment and will be non-refundable after Sept 1st. We will not take class sign-ups on the website for this. You can pay in the store by check or cash in advance, or we will hold your spot with a credit card and you can mail a check. We must receive your payment within a few days to hold your spot, though. I am also considering asking Lynell Harlow of Dreamweaver Stencils to visit in November. She teaches a class using a brass stencil three different ways. I thought this would be fun. Her husband does Zentangle using the shapes of her stencils, If you are not familiar with Zentangle, check out the photo below. I would really like some feedback on this, especially whether you might want to try your hand at Zentangle,......kind of fancy doodling!  Let me know what you think......  |
