Happy Thanksgiving
I hope you are enjoying Fall weather and are getting in the Christmas groove! We are so happy to finally have cooler weather here and have been waiting all day for the "big storm" that was supposed to arrive. I even put my winter gear in my car this morning in case it snows and I have to hike up my driveway. Well, that was the kiss of death....no sign of rain or snow...(started raining right after I wrote that!) The boys think winter is on the way! Doodlebug is not a baby anymore!
Melissa, Robin, and I have been pondering attending the Creativation 2023 show in Ohio in early April. We keep looking at airfair and hotels....the hard part is looking at the list of vendors who will attend (or not). It is very disappointing at this time. Considering airfair and four nights at a hotel, the prospect of only visiting with ten vendors (those currently listed) is pretty sad. I hope more of the vendors we purchase from, and some interesting new ones, actually decide to attend but it seems unlikely. As of today I will say we do not plan to go. However, on the upside....some of our vendors and rep companies have been doing seanonal virtual shows. While they are not hands on and face-to-face, they are very helpful and timely. If things change, we will keep you posted but as of now it is not looking good :(

We have pre-ordered the new Graphic 45 collection, Flower Market.... just waiting for it to ship. The collection contains 12 gorgeous floral designs. It also has a calendar month image on the reverse side of each print. Are you interested in making a calendar in an upcoming class? We can't make samples until we get the paper so it would be helpful to know if there is interest in a calendar class. As soon as it arrives, I will get some photos off to you.
I think I already mentioned, there seems to be a crazy shortage of things what contain quality steel. This is really taking a toll on paper trimmers and replacement blades. We have been able to get guillotine trimmers from Tonic (just like the ones they make under Tim Holtz name), so we ordered more of the 8.5" trimmers and have also placed a pre-order for the 12" trimmer (on back-order). We have a 12" Fiskars trimmer on order....they are not our best sellers but we do have some people who prefer them to the guillotine style and they are lighter weight if you are taking them to crops or classes. Being out of trimmers would be awful! Might we actually have to try to cut straight with scissors???
For those who will be attending The Great Yosemite Stamp Escape...I hope to be able to announce the teachers soon. It is a challenge to get teachers who provide a variety of class techniques, can represent a company or companies so we can bring in the products they are using in class, are fun, good teachers, and are available......not everyone who creates nice work can teach others how to do it! I am trying to add some new and interesting people this year...along with different companies. Fingers crossed,

We added to our Embossing Folder assortment. For a while they seemed scarce but we got some new interesting ones from Memory Box and Taylored Expressions.
We are always adding to our gem collections....one can never have too much sparkle! We have some new colors in sticky-back gems (as some of you prefer those over ones that need glue).
