Welcome, 2022!!

Farewell 2021!!!!

We are glad to say goodbye to 2021, and we have high hopes for 2022! We love hearing from all of you and wish you a Happy New Year. If you follow us on Facebook, you will know that Melissa and I had a snowy and icy year-end. We both get pretty grumpy when we can't get to work :) If we missed you during our "snow hiatus", we are sorry and hope to see you soon.

Stamp Escape is starting to shape up. Now might be a good time if you have reservations to check them by calling Amy Young at 559-692-8816 or emailing her at ayoung@basslake.com to confirm your dates or make a reservation. If you have attended before...note, this is a new person to contact. I was told all reservations were moved to 2022, but I think it would be better to confirm everything. I understand the Pines Resort is working to make everything as much like we have always had it as possible. It will be so much fun to see everyone crafting together again!

As I mentioned last month, we will not attend the NAMTA show in April. We will however keep up with everything new by attending all of the virtual shows. We do look forward to attending in person again as soon as we can. I was sent a NAMTA questionnaire asking for votes on future locations and dates. Hopefully, they will pick a new location.....we could all use some new scenery, after all. (You can tell I haven't traveled in a while!)

As always at the end of the year, we have fewer classes due to the holidays. This year, with Christmas and New Years' being on Saturdays it really cut into our class schedule. We are getting back up and running so be sure to check out the class schedule and call to sign up. We will start off with Robin's class featuring Becca Feeken dies. Since Robin is now designing for the Amazing Paper Grace Facebook group (Becca Feeken designs for Spellbinders) we will be seeing some fun new projects.

See you soon!

                                                                                     What's New?

We are starting to get new papers in.....we love the Echo Park Valentine Papers, We always try to get papers that have a more generic "B" side to make them more useful once the holiday has passed. You will notice this with the new Echo Park 12x12 cardstock. We also have other papers, stamps, and dies on order.

We also receive some new paper pads from Craft Consortium. We LOVE the gorgeous watercolor-look backgrounds. We also ordered new 6x6 pads from My Favorite Things....should be here soon!

If you haven't seen the new Quad Stencils from Taylored Expressions, you have been missing out. Melissa used the Mistletoe set in a class and I used the Snowflake set for my Christmas cards. I must admit I had a different card in my head.....and hated it when I made my sample. I am sure you know how that goes. I went totally out of my comfort zone and made my cards with black, kraft, white, and silver, and I really liked them. They went really fast as you make 4 different card fronts at once. That was a good thing because I am always last minute when it comes to my cards.

We have quite a few new die sets from Spellbinders. I particularly like the way they use the space in their dies to give you as much for your money as they can. Their stamps and dies are still quite reasonably priced. We are seeing some vendors' prices increasing with very basic shape die sets in the $60 price range. We will do everything we can to search for the best quality for the best price.

As we start watching the virtual trade shows, we would like your input. Let us know what your latest favorites are.....style, design, color. and company. We will do our best to look for things we think you will like. We can't guarantee we will be able to purchase from all suggested companies as not all sell wholesale...but we will do our best to look for your latest faves!

See you soon!
