We are Thankful for YOU!

Hello, everyone;
Here we are with Halloween behind us and Thanksgiving just around the corner. Am I the only one who is totally out of sync?  If you check out the classes, you will see that I have skipped right by Turkey's and Reindeer and have moved on to Butterflies! What can I tell you? I am sure there is some hidden psychological thing connected to that. I am just happy that we had rain and the skies are clear..... I can't wait for winter (so I can complain about snow :)

I mentioned in the last newsletter that product shipments are unpredictable. It is now something that we are seeing on the news every day. We appreciate your patience when we special order for you. We often order the same item directly from the manufacturer and from our distributors to see who can deliver first. Ordering is becoming a crazy game. We are also specifying certain methods of shipment when we can. Not all major shippers are created equal...I will say no more! We also try to concentrate on our vendors who manufacture in the US. We know it is a challenge for vendors to seek out reliable and reasonable manufacturers and we appreciate their dedication to the American worker. We are also happy to support our vendors who have chosen to manufacture abroad, but we know delivery may no longer be what we expect. Since much of our inventory is seasonal, we don't want to take a chance on getting Christmas in February. I just want you to know that we are doing everything we can to keep the store stocked with current merchandise.

While we are concentrating on merchandise and shipping, we are not ignoring our classes and the much anticipated Great Yosemite Stamp Escape 2022. I can't believe we have missed 2020 and 2021. What a crazy time this has been. Just so you all know, we are going to go ahead with Stamp Escape, April 23rd, and 24th, 2022....one way or another. As much as I try to forget that we have missed hosting our event, I look at the boxes of tote bags and badge holders (dated 2020) every day. We have moved them more times than I can tell you. We have been looking for a useful way to "dispose" or make use of them. Your thoughts?? Of course, we are having to re-confirm our teachers and there will be some changes from the 2020 line-up. We always try to schedule teachers who will provide a variety of projects as we know not all of our attendees have the same style. I will announce the teacher list as soon as all are confirmed. In the meantime, I hope you are well and are looking forward to resuming normal life as much as we are.

Be sure to check out the class schedule. We have a special treat the first week in December. Our friend, Linda Mosely will be teaching a Graphic 45 "Let it Snow" box project. You won't want to miss it! I mentioned in a previous email that Robin was invited to join the Amazing Paper Grace Inspiration Team. It is quite an honor that Robin was asked by Becca Feeken to join her team. In January, Robin's class will feature some of Becca's beautiful dies. There will be no class on Thanksgiving weekend.
Take care..keep crafting! Happy Thanksgiving!

                                                                            WHAT'S NEW?

We have beautiful new Lawn Fawn paper in 12"x12" and also 6"x6" pads. We love the beautiful colors and the wintry silver foil snowflakes!

Hot of the delivery truck :) is the Small Make Art Stay-ion from Wendy Vecchi. These are a "must-have" when working with 6"x6" stencils.

We are on a paper binge, I guess....we have more great new 6"x6" pads in wood grain, metal, floral and Christmas designs. We seem to have a thing for the paper pads!

Villanous Purple Distress Ink, Distress Oxide Ink, and refills for both inks are here....the enamel pins are on the way :)

We received new stock on the Spellbinders Hot Foil Glimmer Machine, new colors of Hot Foil, and restock on the Platinum 6 Die Cutting Machine that works great with the Glimmer platform. For those who are wondering, the Hot Foil is different from the foiling papers such as ThermoWeb Foil-Mates that require a laminator-type machine. The Hot foils use a metal plate that resembles a metal die. With the products such as Foil-Mates (a foiled pattern on paper) when your paper with the foil images has been used, you are done. The Foiling Plates for hot foil machines have an indefinite life and can be used with any color of the foil.

We also have restocked the Wagner Heat Tool which has been our #1 choice forever. Luckily we have a distributor who has stock since they seem to be hard to get!

We are keeping an eye on Taylored Expressions, Penny Black, Impression Obsession, Honey Bee, and a few other companies that manufacture in the USA. If you see something from one of these companies that you "require", let us know and we will be happy to order for you.
