Cooler days are on the way!

Hi there...
I don't know about you, but I am really looking forward to cooler weather, and some moisture to douse the fires! After evacuating last year I have great compassion for anyone who is threatened by fire or other natural disasters. The nights here are much cooler, which I love. There might even be a chance of rain in a week or so...that would make me really happy! I hope you are safe and healthy where you are!

October will be a busy month. We have a very full class schedule with Julie Kelly coming for three days. She will teach a Halloween Class Friday afternoon and two Christmas-themed classes Saturday and Sunday. The weekend morning classes will feature the holiday release from Pink Fresh, and the afternoon classes will feature stamps and dies from LDRS and Hero Arts. The classes are $35 for one or $30 each for two or more. Be sure to check out all of the classes on the website. Call (559-642-6611) or email to sign up.

We have some really exciting news to share with you. As you know, our friend and talented local stamper, Robin Clendenning, has been on the Heartfelt Creations design team for several years. You may have taken her classes featuring their beautiful flowers and images. Robin has also designed for several other companies over the years, and today it was announced that she will be on the Amazing Paper Grace Creative Team! You may know the name Becca Feeken and have seen her dies that are made by Spellbinders. Robin loves dies and her creativity will be a great addition to Becca's team. It will be fun to see what new things Robin will come up with. She will be a busy girl keeping up with Heartfelt Creations and Becca Feeken's latest dies. Join us in congratulating Robin for being selected to join this prestigious team.

For those of you who stopped by the store during the last month and found the parking lot in front of the store chained off...we have good news. The lot is now available for your convenience. I wouldn't want to insinuate that crafters bring a lot of stuff to class....but I know it was hard to walk farther with the lot blocked. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

As always, we hope you are well and keeping busy crafting. If there is anything we can do for you, whether you live near or far, just give us a jingle!

                                                 WHAT'S NEW?

We have great new paper collections from Echo Park/Carta Bella. They are perfect for fall and Chridtmas projects. We also gave a new camping/forest collection.

Don't forget we have Spellbinders Glimmer machines which will be used in Julie's classes this month. If Glimmer is new to you, this is a great chance to try it out.

We should have our latest order from Taylored Expressions in a few days. It has some of their newest products along with lots of the very popular Sticky Strips. If you have ever tried cutting skinny little foam strips from a 1/2" wide piece and the adhesive sticks to your scissors and the protective paper comes off and you have a mess.....Sticky Strips are for you!

We recently got an order from Honey Bee Stamps. We are lovin' this little company! I used their very dimensional Sunflower die and the beautiful fall leaves cutting plate in my October 2nd class.

The Spellbinders dies used in Kathy's and Melissa's classes are also newly released and so versatile. We love the new business procedures Spellbinders has established. They are working directly with stores, holding monthly meetings. We get an honest update on product availability and sneak-peeks of new product. They bring us up to date on what product is available and what is sitting on a ship somewhere in a flotilla of 60 ships in the L.A. harbor. No joke...they are actually having some product flown in because they don't have any idea how long it will take to get all of the ships currently waiting in L.A. unloaded. It is nice to be kept informed.

It looks like everyone loved the new collections of Buttons Galore Jewelz as much as we do. We have already placed a reorder!

We will try to keep you informed on shipping and availability of product as we get the information. Our vendors are struggling to get their product and get it to us. Thanks for your patience.
