We have a busy month ahead of us....... and we are really getting excited! Boxes are coming from vendors with treasures for goody bags and door prizes. I will be sending out an email soon with info on what to bring, Mystery Basket, etc. This event will be lots of fun, and classes will offer great variety. There are some spaces left, but chalets are getting scarce. Call me if you need help with The Pines.
March has brought us lots of fun stuff.....The beautiful Haven collection from Anna Griffin came in. It is in greens, yellows, with splashes of blue and coral.....just gorgeous! The second collection of stamps from Penny Black which Melissa is using in her class features gorgeous flowers as usual. We love this collection. Stampavie has finally come. Since this company is from France, they have had shipping issues in the past. I think the problems are somewhat fixed, and we have a nice selection of their clear stamps. They are perfect for those who love to color! More dies from Cherry Lynn Designs came in as well as some from Memory Box. If you special ordered any, they probably came in...only a few were backordered. The latest paper collection from Authentique, Delightful, is exactly that, delightful! The collection is pastel and yummy!
I have a new supplement from Impression Obsession...if you want to special order anything, now is the time. They have the cutest frog stamp you have ever seen.
We will have tons of merchandise coming in to support the classes at Stamp Escape. Of course, those attending that weekend will get first choice....just another reason to attend.
Be sure to check out our new sunflowers on the walls of the store. We are going to add words like Create, Inspire, and if you have suggestions you can email me as our brains are like full sponges....they need to be wrung out to make room for more ideas!
Many moons ago I included a tip in each newsletter. Sher Todd has asked me repeatedly to do it again. I actually think I haven't done it since I started emailing my newsletter....wow! So, Sher, this is for you!
The hot color for 2012 is gray! Combined with yellow, teal, pink, or purple, gray is the foundational color in the pallette this season. The combos of olive and lavender and orange and blue are popular in home decor and fabric lines. As card makers and scrapbookers, we also see these colors in papers, paints, ribbons and embellishments. If you want to create a project that looks new and fresh, use these colors!
We hope to see you soon, there is always so much to show you. We are happy to order for you and love your input.
See you soon.....
