Hello;
If you thought you missed the email announcing sign-up for Stamp Escape, you didn't. Truthfully I was busy working on the biggest SPCA fundraiser of the year and totally forgot what day it was. Pretty sad! When you are going on vacation and trying to cram 6 weeks' worth of work into 2 weeks, crazy things happen. Interesting how that works....your schedule is wild for the month before and month after a 2-week vacation.....makes you wonder...
We are 3/4 ready to open registration. We are working on teacher #4 and I hope to have that wrapped up next week. Keep an eye on your email inbox. I don't want to leave Melissa in an avalanche of registration forms. Remember, last year's registration filled up very quickly so when registration opens, don't delay.
Even with all of this craziness, we still take time to purchase new products. The other day, I got an email from Melissa saying "You had better check the Taylored Expressions shopping cart... I did a little shopping!". Well, I did and she certainly had! I am well trained so I went to checkout and put in payment information. There was some pretty cool stuff in the cart...stamps and dies including new sentiment strips, and really nice stencils. It should all be here next week.
In case you don't know where I am going on vacation, I will fly to Nairobi for a couple of days then fly out to the Masai Mara for about a week. I will be on game drives every day and hope to see a nice variety of wildlife. I also plan to post photos oh Facebook if the sanctuary really does have wifi.
The store will operate as usual while I am away, but you never know what surprises Melissa will come up with. Watch our facebook page.

WHAT'S NEW?
Besides the new order from Taylored Expressions that is in process, we received our re-order of Blending Brushes and the Brush Caddy. Everyone loves these brushes. They are well thought out, the bristles are extremely dense and soft, yet firm. They make blending a breeze.
We received a wonderful shipment from Memory Box. Robin just held a watercolor class with the stamp sets and a couple of their word dies. The clear stamp sets gave a great variety of holiday words and unique images.
Melissa will use the products she chose from Taylored Expressions in her November class. They will make creating some last-minute Christmas cards a snap!
Our latest collection of Laurel Burch stamps is here. We have many Laurel Burch fans. I think the images lend themselves to bright colors and it is easy to create "happy" projects with them.
Last week, Barbie Morales taught her first class with us. We loved her beautiful cards featuring the new stamps, dies, and wide washi tape from Pink Fresh. You would never know the beautifully colored floral images are actually washi tape. You have to see it to believe it. Barbie was a great teacher, well organized and her cards were beautiful. We hope she teaches again soon.
