We survived Stamp Escape!

Newsletter

Hello!
We have just sent a very tired group of ladies home after several days of intense crafting at The Great Yosemite Stamp Escape 2019. We had a lot of fun and recieved very positive feedback about the event, our 18th year. We loved having such organized  teachers with great projects. Special thanks to Theresa Momber from Gina K Designs, Libby Hickson from Hero Arts, Nola Chandler from Impression Obsession and Julie Kelly who represented Photoplay this weekend. I will admit that we have some stressful times leading up to the event, but when we see your smiling faces arrive, it makes us happy! We love being able to provide a fun weekend full of inspiration. After we wrap up the final details of this event, we will start working on 2020. We will not be taking sign-ups until we have everything confirmed. Please be patient :)

                                                      "Ready to go home!"

You can check out more photos on our facebook page

Of course, following Stamp Escape, we have product related to the classes that were taught. Because we sold out of a lot of product there, we are putting together orders from those companies ASAP! If you attended (or not) and want anything from Impression Obsession, Hero Arts, Photoplay, Tonic, Gina K Designs, please let us know in the next few days. We would prefer to have your order by email. orders will be placed Monday, May 6th. Any orders received after that will go in with our next order when additional product is needed.

Thanks so much to everyone who attended this weekend. Special thanks to our volunteer helpers!

                                                 What's New?

One of the favorite items at Stamp Escape was the 10pc set of Life Changing Brushes from Picket Fence. Julie Kelly did a great demo with them, showing not only blending but using the smaller ones to color small areas.

When we ordered from Photoplay, we found a paper we just love. It is their "Color Me" 12x12 cardstock. It is white with black line drawing print. It has an all over design on one side and cut-apart designs on the other side. We got the cat, dog, and sea life designs. Melissa has made a couple of really cute cards that are on display in the store.

We have dies from Paper Rose, the Australian company I found at Creativation. Kathy is using them in her class this month. For us, they are Western themed....for our Aussie friends they are representative of the Outback. Either way, they make a spectacular card. Check out Kathy's cards in the classes section of the website.

The Make Art Station by Wendy Vecchi was finally shipped. It is 14"x14", so not too big for most work areas. It is metal and comes with four magnets and a magnetic ruler. One side has grid, back is blank. Check it out!

We have a new shipment from Sunny Studio. There are some really fabulous stamps and a killer background die that Melissa is using in her class this month. Again, check out the class page on the website. Link is at bottom of this page.

Another item that was a favorite at Stamp Escape was the selection of several colors of metallic cardstock. This cardstock is the perfect weight for die cutting and is reasonably priced.

Several companies have new Spring releases, so watch for more new goodies in the store soon.

While you are checking out classes, don't miss Julie Kelly's classes, June 1st. She will teach two classes Saturday, the morning class from Avery Elle, afternoon class from Hero Arts. If we have enough sign-ups, we will also have classes Sunday.

Don't forget to check out the classes page on our website, and like us on Facebook
