Oops....a day late!

Hi there...
As you can imagine, we have been a bit busy with The Great Yosemite Stamp Escape this past weekend so I am a bit late with your monthly newsletter. To say the weekend was a lot of fun is an understatement! The weeks prior to the event were hectic with all of the preparation. We took time out the Tuesday prior to our event for Jennifer Dove to teach a couple of classes since she and her family were here for two weeks. Jenn is always fun and certainly a great Copic teacher.

The classes at Stamp Escape were well received. All four teachers were very organized which makes things run smoothly. Gina K featured her very popular Wreath Builder and demoed foiling Saturday evening. Karen Burniston came with her entire line of dies. The ladies made fabulous pop-up cards in her class. Julie Kelly featured Lawn Fawn stamps and dies in her four card class .....  frog spinner, a spring treat box, a farm animal shaker and a cute duck card. Jenn used Copics to color her images and as always had lots of layering and interesting additions to her cards. She also introduced the ladies to air brushing.

These photos are just a sampling of our fun weekend. We hope to have registration for 2019 open in about a month. Keep an eye on your inbox for the June newsletter.

Of course Stamp Escape also means lots of new product in the store. This week we are working on special orders for items students wanted that we didn't have enough of at the event. It is difficult to know in advance what everyone will want. We also keep product for the store after the event. A couple of examples are dies from KBRiley, LLC. Karen Burniston's new company, and Gina K Designs Gina's company is now available to us as a brick and mortar store. Previously you would have ordered from her online. Be sure to have us point out the new lines when you stop in.

Even though we are wrapping up Stamp Escape, we are looking forward to May classes. I apologize for getting the newsletter out late, but please make sure you click here to see the May classes and contact us to sign up. We have lots of things planned for the next few months so be sure to stop by or watch for emails.

                                                          WHAT"S NEW?
As I mentioned, from Gina K Designs. we will have select colors of their beautiful cardstock and the latest colors of inks. We will also be ordering a nice selection of stamps from her many designers.

Last week we received a shipment from Lavinia with the newest fairies and foliage. I love the graceful designs of the fairies.

We have a new highly touted tape runner for vellum. You know how the adhesive always shows through? Well, this is reportedly the best ever!!!! And we also have PURPLE TAPE.....This is similar to painters tape or washi tape, but lower tack so it doesn't tear of any of the paper when you use it to hold your dies in place. Definitely Jennifer McGwire recommended!!!!!

We now have all colors of Memento ink pads in stock. We have made a major change in our inks and settled on Memento as our all around dye ink. They have such a wide range of colors, I know you will love them. And also from the same company (Imagine Crafts) we now have VersaFine Clair! We have all 36 colors! These are really a hot ticket so we may run out of colors but we will try to keep them in stock.

I think you know that we have all three releases of the Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Inks is stock a well. If you haven't tried the Oxides yet, you really should...they are fabulous!

From Stampendous, we have two display collections of small clear stamps. They are so cute.....Laurel Burch and House Mouse Designs in little 3x3 sizes for $2.99 each. These are great little images to slip in a greeting card as a little surprise!

There are lots of other new goodies, but I had better shoot this off to you since I am already running late. We look forward to seeing you soon and as always, we appreciate your support.
