Happy Halloween!
Newsletter
Hi there!
We are so excited to see fall colors, and cooler weather. Winter holidays are coming soon! We are stocking up on Halloween, Fall, Christmas and Winter, and there are so many fun, beautiful new stamps, dies and paper in the store and on the way. Check out the classes for October as there are lots of ideas to inspire you and get your holiday juices flowing.
We are happy to announce our teachers for The Great Yosemite Stamp Escape 2018. They are Gina K, Jennifer Dove, Julie Kelly, and Karen Burniston. You may know Gina from her company, Gina K Designs and her presence on the internet. She is a great teacher and a delightful addition to our event. This will be Jenn's second time to teach at our event. She is known for her fabulous Copic skills and creative designs. The cards in her class will feature her own designs from C C Designs. Julie Kelly will represent Lawn Fawn..... expect to make some creative, interactive cards in her class. Last but not least, we have Karen Burniston back with us. Karen has joined Riley & Company Rubber Stamps and has tons of new, fun dies in her line. We think the teachers each offer something unique, and there will be lots of techniques taught in the classes. Although the event is full (100) students, if you would like to be on the waiting list, we encourage you to contact us. I plan to update information on the TGYSE web page this week with links to the teachers sites for more information.
Many of you know of my involvement with our local SPCA. After many long years, we have finally started construction on our 8000+ square foot, no-kill shelter. This is a very exciting time for our SPCA. Because I am very involved in this project, Melissa will be working a bit more each week to make sure things continue to run smoothly at the store and we can continue to provide you with the products and classes you expect..... and also help me retain my sanity!
Classes this month are mainly Christmas themed with a turkey and a cute bear luminaria thrown in. Check out the classes here.
Thanks so much for your support of The Cat's Meow. We love being you go-to paper crafts store!
What's New?
Additional stamps dies and paper from the current Lawn Fawn release, some new images and some reorders.
A new shipment from My Favorite Things that includes two styles of their latest 6x6 paper pads along with new stamps and dies.
Today I unpacked a shipment from Memory Box. It contained their Basic Rectangles and Squares. I just love these sets. There are so many sizes in each set. I recall wondering why anyone would need dies to cut something as simple as a square or rectangle, back in the early days of dies! Now they are among my favorites for the perfection they provide, and for the many sizes of frames they allow you to make with ease. we also received some of our favorites, like the soaring bird, from their last release.
If you are in the market for a new heat tool, we have ordered our favorite... with a new name. Our Milwaukee tool has always been our favorite..... now, with a name change but the same great quality, the name is Wagner (who purchased Milwaukee)... in stock soon.
We have new colors of Nuvo Drops on the way. Wow, what a growing company! It seems like they have something new every day.
There are many more new goodies in stock and on order...... and some really fun ideas brewing in our crafty brains! Because to keep an eye on your email!
