Happy St Patrick's Day from The Cat's Meow!
We finally have a few days of sunshine ahead of us. It seems funny that after so many years of little to no rain, we are now celebrating a bit of a dry spell. Everything is completely saturated and we are seeing trees that survived the beetle infestation falling over from the soil being too wet. Sometimes you just can't win. This is a fun time at The Cat's Meow! The new products that we ordered at the trade show and afterward are arriving almost daily. It is like Christmas! It is always a surprise to see what is in the boxes....you would think we would remember what we ordered, but with so much to see, we usually don't. Besides, surprises are fun! We were sorry to hear that our nearest stamp store, Stamper's Corner is closing their doors. Carol and I were probably the stores who had been in business the longest of any that I know of. We wish Carol well. I know she will be missed by her customers and those of us in the industry. We are deep in the plans for Stamp Escape. May will be here sooner than we think! Today we received our Spellbinders order. We fell in love with the Graceful Borders designed by Becca Feeken. They come with 2 to 3 dies in a set and they all interchange and work well together! We will try to get some samples made so you can see the possibilities. Penny Black is here, and Robin and Melissa were inspired at CHA to use the stamps and dies in their March classes. Lawn Fawn's new rainbow plaid paper is yummy. We bought it along with several colors of their plaids and beautiful soft shades that appear to have been water-colored. We also have fun stamps and dies with sample cards to inspire you. The Natures Notebook collection from Graphic 45 is here, and Portrait of a Lady and Midnight Masquerade are coming soon. Check out the new "Easter pastel" glitter papers from Best Creations. We also have a new metallic paper in gold, silver, and copper that is the perfect weight to cut intricate dies. The Distress Oxide inks have shipped so if you took advantage of the bundle special we offered in our last email, you will be hearing from us in a few days. We have sold out of Mitzi Creative Corners and the 'in demand' bar magnets. Good news, magnets are back in stock and more Original Mists and Creative Corners are on the way. Heartfelt Creations Dogwood collection is shipping. It will be very popular, so if there is something you have seen that you 'must have'. Let us know.
