Hi…..Happy 4th! Here we are in July already and we are ordering Christmas! It will be 102 degrees here, so maybe we will order some snowflakes…… might cool us down. This is the time of year when we see lots of tourists. It is fun to hear about their local stamp/scrapbook stores (or lack of them). They are always happy to know we are here to stay.
We have been gradually getting all of the orders from Stamp Escape fulfilled. Today I am sending out the latest supplement from Memory Box to my mailing list. It has stamps and dies for Halloween and Christmas. I have already ordered so that I will hopefully get stock by July 8th as promised. If you see things you like, be sure to email or call me. I will be able to ship orders from stock received and if we don’t have what you want, I will order for you. There are some really nice new things in this release (look for stars that indicate new). Last week I emailed the latest Penny Black supplements. Of course, I think the Krazy Kats are adorable. If you haven’t emailed your special orders, do it soon so we can get everything you want (need). There has been interest in having Jennifer Dove come early 2015 for a Copic retreat. Watch for an email from me with a survey asking what your needs and interests are. If we do this, we want to do what YOU want. I would hold this event in Oakhurst, not at the lake, to keep costs down as much as possible. Jennifer is a terrific teacher as anyone who went to Stamp Escape can tell you. Jenn offers Copic Bootcamps in Arizona where she lives but if we have enough people here, it will be worth it for her to come here for a weekend or maybe longer if we have lots of people interested. I hope you are following our facebook page so you can see video links we post. Karen Burniston (aka the Youtube Queen) has wonderful videos. It is fun to see her dies in action, not just the Check out the classes and new goody info below. Remember, we will be closed July 4th and open again on Saturday the 5th……breaking from routine, Melissa will teach class the first Saturday and Stamp of the Month will be the second Saturday. I think that makes it easier than remembering to buy them separately and it is more cost effective. A new and very different sample board from Inky Antics. It will be Stamp of the Month, but even if you can't attend, it is really worth a look. If you like to color, these stamps are perfect for you. Tim Holtz Mini Distress Inks are here in kits 7, 8 & 9. This gives us 27 colors in this great size. I am sure you NEED them all! We R Memory Keepers new Farmers Market and Indian Summer paper collections are here. These came in and went out so fast I had to immediately reorder. I think the Indian summer is great for masculine cards/scrapbook pages. The one that looks like a piece of tan leather is a great background. Farmers Market features small prints and ginghams. 2015 mini calendars are here. Guess what....Melissa will be teaching a new calendar class in September! Get on the list now so we will know how many times she will need to plan to teach :) I have seen the proto-type and it is very cute! It would make a great Christmas gift! Plan ahead.... We have received a collection of simple wood mounted greeting stamps that are only $2.99 each! Check them out. Keep an eye out for more new collections as they come in.
